Just stopping in to say I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner, are you ready??? As for me I will be hosting Thanksgiving in my home and I'm pretty ecstatic but at the same time nervous, how am I going to fit several people into one tiny two bedroom home, as they say where there is a will there is a way!! I should be thankful for my tiny home but I long soo much for a farmhouse like so many of you, maybe one day!! Although I'm just a tad bit overcome with anxiety about decorating and if my home is up to par!! We shall see in a few weeks, I'll come back and share if I succeeded or not, lol!! Thanksgiving aside I am overly excited about decorating for Christmas, what are your thoughts, is it to early to decorate, I think it comes sooo fast and is over in a blink that I don't want to wait until December!! I guess to each his own and I see a rustic Christmas in the near future, meaning early November, lol, don't judge me!!! Sharing with you a peek of my Christmas tree from last year! The other pic is of our last snowfall in our little Texas town, which those who know Texas we rarely have snow and when we do it's something spectacular, this was our little church covered with snow, beautiful isn't it??
Till next time

October has come and almost gone, these days are flying by way too fast for me!!!! I love fall and want to cherish each moment of the season!!! Most of my days are spent on something going on with the kids in school but I wouldn't have it any other way! My oldest daughter and her volleyball team are district champs as of last night and are playoff bound, woo hoo!!! My babies are my world and as busy and tired as I might be they are my reason to keep on keeping on!!! Here are a few pics of my home ready for fall!!
God Bless and have a great day!!!

Primitive Cabinet
Hi,
I wanted to show you the primitive cabinet I mentioned in my last post. This beauty was found on a rainy day when I otherwise would have stayed home. I'm so glad I decided to go because I found many treasures besides the cabinet and all for a very good price! The old syrup crate was found a while back and I love it! I've started filling the cabinet with my old ironstone but I still have quite a bit of space to fill up, which shouldn't take long This is a short post so please enjoy the pics as much as I enjoy my new treasure!
Have a blessed day,
Rachel

A Few More Pics From Our Home
I wanted to start off by thanking Amy Kinser from All Things Home for such sweet comments on my blog! I've been following her blog for quite some time now and I was so excited to hear from her, thank you again, you definitely made my day!!
I've been collecting ironstone the past few years and I was so excited to add these to my collection as well as this old box made of beadboard filled with my ironstone dishes, isn't she a beauty!
The picture below is in my bathroom which is so small and somewhat hard to decorate in because of the lack of space.
On another note I am going to be selling vintage items on my blog as well as some homemade items. I will start off by posting pics of the items for sell as well as the cost. I've created a paypal account to make it easier I hope on you all for purchasing, there will be a buy me now button posted on my blog for you to purchase the item of your choice. As the items sell I will remove the option to buy from paypal. I will also send an invoice with the email you provide through my paypal account. If all runs smoothly with this system it will stay in place, please let me know if you encounter any problems along the way!
Summer break is approaching fast so I better get on the move and finish up all that I have planned before then!! Have a great one my friends!
